This workshop, offered as a four-day intensive or ten-week series, includes three steps towards certification as a birth doula with DONA International:

• Introduction to Childbirth for Doulas

• Basic Birth Doula Workshop

• Breastfeeding for Doulas

Fee: $800 for all three components in a group workshop ($1500 for private class)

Scheduled and on-call mentoring, apprenticeship, and facilitated group peer support, ideal for new doulas and doulas working with challenging situations.

• One-on-one meetings with you as you work with your own clients

• Support during prenatal and/or postpartum meetings with your clients

• Education designed specifically for you, based on your clients’ situations and needs

• On-call text/phone support when you are at a birth

• Job shadowing and apprenticeship, when available

• Facilitated peer support groups and continuing education
